As part of Town Hall Seattle’s Town Music series, pianist David Fung collaborated with Artistic Director and cellist Joshua Roman and violinist Kristin Lee on November 25 to perform three piano trios. In addition to trios by Mendelssohn and Ravel, the musicians gave the world premiere of a new piano trio by Indian-American composer Reena Esmail.

Read MoreThe Amernet String Quartet concludes the 2018-19 season with a series of performances in the Tri-State Area. Following a performances at Chestnut Hill Concerts with cellist Ronald Thomas and violist Vivek Kamath on August 9, the quartet returned to Bargemusic on the Brooklyn waters for a program of works by Beethoven, Dvořák, and Daniel Asia. The quartet will be back in New York on August 19 for a performance at Maverick Concerts in Woodstock in a performance including the quartet’s transcription of Beethoven’s “Pathetique” Sonata.
