Stewart Goodyear's Upcoming Concerts with the Phoenix Symphony, Greenwich Symphony, and Baltimore Symphony
Pianist Stewart Goodyear will be performing alongside three American orchestras this season. He returns to the Phoenix Symphony under Mélisse Brunet from February 27 to March 1, performing Gershwin's Piano Concerto in F, a 100 year old work weaving together jazz, ragtime, and classical idioms, as part of a program celebrating American music. On March 7 and 8, he joins the Greenwich Symphony under Stuart Malina for Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 5 ("Egyptian"). He then returns to the Baltimore Symphony under Jun Märkl, again performing the Saint-Saëns "Egyptian" Concerto, this time alongside works by Pépin, Debussy, and Ravel.
